“ c'est incroyable! Wow! Honestly. I am still in all of everything put on by the Moulin Rouge, from the welcome to the service, dinner, the quality of champagne to the excellence of the dancers! It was as they say, C'est Magnifique! We had Logan as our server, he was amazing and attentive and even better being a ManU fan as we are too! We ordered from the Toulouse-Lautrec Menu, which changes every season. The starter of the Tataki Tuna was so fresh with the citrus flavors. I got for my starter the beef cheek and it was so tender and perfect - I didn't want the flavors to end! For my dessert, I had the entremet which was creamy and fruit forward. The entire meal was to die for! The show was insane. I do not know how the dancer change so quickly or how they kick so high! Merci! ”

“ If you are in Paris, I'd recommend booking a show at the Moulin Rouge! Is it the best show you're ever going to see? No. Is it expensive? Yes. But are you going to have a great time at an iconic place? 100%. Between the traditional acts, they have action packed stunt shows such as knife throwing, roller skating (which gave me the most anxiety haha) and underwater stunts. The building is beautiful inside & out, the dancers are gorgeous and I just really loved being able to experience it! ”

“ This was a bucket list item for me ever since I first saw the movie when I was a little kid. I'm so glad I finally made it to the show. The 11:30 show goes until 1:30/2 am but it's worth a late night. Some of the acts are really amazing - the woman in the swimming pool, the man and woman with the knives and the two men doing incredible acrobatic holds. It's a very random mix of acts but it all kind of works. Definitely glad we made the time to do this! I understand why some people complained. I'll admit - we did NOT get there early. We got there at 11:10 and the show started at 11:40. We were seated at 11:38. As you can see from my video, we still had fine seats. We didn't spend money on dinner so we really were just here for the experience. ”

“ This was a must do for my visit to Paris simply because of the long history of the cabaret. The decor was nice and made me feel like i stepped back in time. We had tickets for dinner and the show. Both did not disappoint. Dinner was a price fix. We had a choice of two different meals which were chosen when we purchased the ticket. A band entertained us during dinner. The main show was absolutely amazing. There were various skits, dances and performances that were surprising, funny and memorable. The costumes and stage props were brilliant and beautiful. Definitely worth checking out. Be sure to purchase in advance. ”

“ Moulin rouge TLDR/Short version: Took in the late night performance with a bottle of champagne for two. Value for money and a spectacular show. Review: (Some spoilers) The venue lovingly maintains the character of the old school music hall complete with many of the old fixtures. We took in the late night Moulin Rouge show with a bottle of champagne for two which we didn't finish after a couple of healthy wine pours at dinner (but did donate to three girls as a treat - bon chance mademoiselles!). The 11pm show tickets are thoroughly worth it for the 90 min performance with a 25% price reduction. The prices were reduced late night due to the cost of transportation from the venue late night. Pigalle isn't an unsafe area per se, but at 1am some of the typical late night city nightlife does become a little more intense... While many of the show's songs, some of the outfits, and 90% of the male dancers were passe/cheesy/kitsch, the venue, choreography, costumes and girls were fantastic. Most striking of all were the elaborate head pieces, which seemed to become more extravagant with each number. For any sensitive Americans still scared of naked breasts, be warned the show is an elegant celebration of topless and semi topless dancing. Highlights of the show aside from the traditional cancan, were the transition acts including a magnificent display of strength and balance from a male acrobat, incredible flexibility from a contortionist and an acrobatic combination of both from a dancing couple. Of the main show performances the aquatic display was excellent. Pro tip: buy the champagne package and get there 30-45 mins early to secure a good table with view on the floor, as all tables fill up and you're escorted to the first open seats. Champagne purchasers receive seats with an unobstructed view otherwise the others are crowded around in fairly tight proximity. ”

“ My girlfriend has always wanted to check out the show so we decided to get their dinner here as well. But what that means is you'll be here eating 2 hours before the main show begins. They have a singing duo while you enjoy your meal and champagne. We thought we would eat during the actual Moulin Rouge performance. But that's on us for not reading the fine print. The food actually looks better than it tasted. It was well prepared but just didn't taste great. I would recommend just eating elsewhere before you come here and just have drinks during the performance. Wait staff is nice and knowledgeable. Could speak English well so there was no confusion with orders. ”

“ This is the second time I watched the Moulin Rouge show. The last time I watched, it was more than 30 years ago. When I walked in, I completely loved the vibe of the show room, the yellow and red lights made it inviting, mysterious and romantic. Seatings are tight but the service was good. We were served with a glass of champagne followed by a starter, main course and a dessert. Food overall is good. While having dinner, there were 2 singers who performed some good songs to encourage a warm and welcoming experience. The actual moulin rouge production has improved a lot, costumes, music and lighting improved a lot. I like that they have different themes, in terms of the stories. All the performers work really hard and they are very professional. I like they added some gymnastic type of performance and diversify the show. Overall, it's a signature French cancan musical performance. It's a good experience if you are in Paris! ”

“ My birthday celebration at Moulin Rouge was truly magical and everything I had hoped for! It was literally everything I wanted! I came for the 11 pm show, and though the ticket states doors close at 10:50 pm, there were still people rushing in past the deadline. There are 2 lanes, the "fast pass" and general admission. Seating is not assigned but allocated on a first-come, first-served basis by ushers. Those with a "fast pass" have a separate entry, and are seated before the general public. As a solo attendee, I was promptly seated in the front row, right by the stage, offering an incredibly close view--I could even see the dancers' sweat! The show itself, along with the performers and costumes, was breathtakingly beautiful, elegant, and seductive. I couldn't stop gaping at how wild and mystical everything was! Among the performances, my favorite was a captivating water routine by a soloist who exuded the grace of a mermaid or siren. She was stunning! Note: many of the performers' costumes are topless, following French fashion norms. I opted not to order food or drinks from the venue, as several reviews had mentioned their subpar quality. I would advise enjoying a meal and drinks beforehand. Lastly, a word of caution: the venue is located in a somewhat sketchy area of Paris. Ladies, it's essential to stay vigilant and keep your bags close at hand ”
